LG’s claim that the W2252TE has significant power savings ability is no lie after all. The 22-inch wide screen monitor, as LG claims uses 22-watts in use lives up to the claims. In fact, the monitor’s power consumption turned out to be just 19.4 watts in a test conducted by smartplanet, which is less than half the usage of the next best Dell’s E228WFP model.
Design:
The LG-W2252TE looks more like a TV than a monitor, its shiny black bezel design is quite attractive. The on-screen menus for adjusting colors and brightness is very simple.

Samsung’s all new HL61A750 LCD TV comes packed with excellent features and yet the price is less than $2K. There are lots of options for picture optimization and connectivity.
The Design:
Arguably the best in its class. It has the glossy black finish with a thin bezel surrounding the edges of the screen. The remote is cool too, it also comes in a glossy black finish minus the backlight. There is this apple style round dial on the remote which is meant for navigating the menu.
