AT&T is now offering the Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry Pearl 8120, the previous Pearl model 8100 had suffered from several problems such as microSD card behind the battery, EDGE only data service, and unconventional(2.5mm) headphone jack. The Pearl 8120 is a improvised version of 8100 with microSD slot relocated to the side of the phone easy access and headphone jack is changed to the conventional 3.5mm.
Above all the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is a Wi-Fi enabled phone that comes in a compact size with good form factor.
AT&T is offering the phone for $199.99 with a two year service contract. But, two year service contract means a minimum of $39.99 per month voice contract and $30 per month unlimited personal data plan. Rates could be higher for data that depend on certain services. Push to Talk service require an extra 10$ a month.
