Sony HDR-TG1 - The World’s smallest Full HD Camcorder

Sony_HDR-TG1_1 Sony today unveiled a stylish pocket-sized camcorder measuring 1.3 x 4.7 x 2.5(W x H x D). The camcorder weighs just about 280 grams and is capable of recording 1920 x 1080 HD video with 5.1ch surround sound and still pictures in 4-megapixel.

The Handycam is made from titanium and comes with premium hard coating, which makes the cam resistant to scratches.

Samsung L210 offers Digital Image Stabilization system, a technology that digitally corrects the colors, contrast and brightness.

The Camera come with a 2.5-inch LCD screen, 10 MB internal memory which can be backed up by SD, SDHC and MMC cards.

Panasonic announced its first digital camera with a 3-inch touch-screen LCD today. The camera packs in a 25mm ultra-wide-angle Lieca DC Lens, 10.1 megapixel, 5x optical zoom. There is swank movie mode which is capable of taking High-Definition clips at 1280×720 at 30fps in 16:9 aspect ratio. SD video in 848×480(WVGA) and 640×480(VGA) resolutions.

The camera features technologies like Intelligent Exposure(which automatically corrects the brightness), Digital Red-eye correction, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector(recognizes the shooting environment and automatically selects appropriate mode) and Auto Focus tracking which keeps track on the subject even while moving, a handy feature for catching children.

The camera will be available in silver and black colors for a retail price of $400.

Tiny HD CamcordersSanyo announces tiniest 720p camera, its called Xacti DMX-HD700. This comes as an upgrade version of the smallest and lightest HD Camcorder the company released which the company already released some time ago.

The new version boasts MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression method and can record videos in 4 MP Quality, 5X optical zoom lens, 8 GB Storage.

The camcorder will hit the stores on October 19 2007.

Price: 600 $.
