Panasonic announced its first digital camera with a 3-inch touch-screen LCD today. The camera packs in a 25mm ultra-wide-angle Lieca DC Lens, 10.1 megapixel, 5x optical zoom. There is swank movie mode which is capable of taking High-Definition clips at 1280×720 at 30fps in 16:9 aspect ratio. SD video in 848×480(WVGA) and 640×480(VGA) resolutions.
The camera features technologies like Intelligent Exposure(which automatically corrects the brightness), Digital Red-eye correction, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector(recognizes the shooting environment and automatically selects appropriate mode) and Auto Focus tracking which keeps track on the subject even while moving, a handy feature for catching children.
The camera will be available in silver and black colors for a retail price of $400.

This is a nice camera. High resolution, a touchscreen panel and the video output in HD are very good features from this camera. And the price is also ok.
