BenQ introduced its new V2400VW monitor which the company claims to be the world’s slimmest 24-inch monitor. The technical specifications of the monitor says that the display measures 6 cm at the thickest point and 2.28 cm at the thinnest point. Apart from the slim factor, the design of the monitor is very pleasing in appearance as well.
BenQ used a new plastic injection technology that is responsible for the curves and slim factor.
Coming to Specs, the display is a Full HD 1080p with dynamic contrast ratio of 4000:1 and a response time of 2ms. There is a touch panel for controls and the monitor supports wide range of connectors such as HDMI, DVI and VGA. However the the monitor lacks the HDCP support for DVI connector and brightness is a bit on the down side.
Will hit the Asian stores this month, will be introduced to North America and Europe markets next month.
