Samsung unveiled two new HD monitors T240 and T260HD with a crystalline design and sleek looks at CeBIT 2008. The design is quite impressive, with a crystal frame around the monitor, it comes with a built-in DTV tuner to maximize the color effects . Both the models require very less power, the T240 draws just 0.3 watts when in stand-by mode, T260
draws 30 watts on average, being a HD monitor the power it draws is less when compared to other models.
T260HD packs in a contrast ratio of 20000:1 which is the best in the market with a response time of 5ms, LG comes second with 10000:1 ratio. The monitor can also be used to watch HD broadcasts directly with the help of DTV Tuner, it also has set of other input terminals like HDMI, USB.
No word on price, will start shipping later this month.

Actually, the T260HD only has a contrast ratio of 10000:1. The T240 has 20000:1
