Dell SP2039W is now available on the company’s site for purchase. The Display is a wide-screen flat panel monitor with a resolution of 2048×1152, contrast ratio of 80000:1, response time of 2ms, and brightness of 300cd/m².
The screen has a true wide-screen aspect ratio of 16:9 instead of the conventional 16:10, which allows games and movies to fill up the entire space leaving the black bars out. It also has a built-in 2MP webcam, twin microphones, a HDMI, DVI, VGA ports, and both line-in/line-out jacks for audio in and out.
All this for just $379, which is pretty cheap considering its features.
