Pioneer announced new line of plasma TV’s which features black levels five times deeper than its predecessor KURO models. Initially the upgraded panels will be available 50 and 60-inch screens. Features include 1080p(Full HD), advanced SRS WOW HD audio, auto volume stabilization(automatically controls the volume levels while switching channels), optimum mode(for adjusting picture based on the lighting conditions).
Also, the TV’s are much thinner now at just 3.7 inch and comes with a new remote control. The TV can be networked with your PC for streaming content straight from PC.
The 50-inch model PDP-5020FD is priced at $4000, while the 60-inch model PDP-6020FD is priced at $5500. Both the models will hit the stores in June.
