Samsung unveils 55-inch true 240Hz Full HD display

Samsung today unveiled the world’s first 240Hz Full HD 55-inch LCD Display and an energy saving 10.1-inch LCD for Netbooks at the SID 2009 Event.

The 240Hz display would offer ultra smooth display and eliminates the blur motion often seen in LCD’s. On the other hand Samsung also showed off its 10.1” LCD for Netbooks that consumes 50% less power than the existing displays. The Screen will have a 1366×768 resolution and gives perfect readable display both indoors and outdoors.

Samsung also unveiled a “printable semiconductor” 4-inch QVGA LCD, but no information on this display is given yet.
