Sony today unveiled new BRAVIA television range, the Z5500 with 200Hz Motionflow and Image Blur Reduction Technologies.
Motionflow 200Hz technology calculates 3 additional frames for every original, thus upping the frame rate from 50 to 200 frames per second, ensuring enhanced, smooth and sharp picture. The frame has a very minimalistic design and it doesn’t distract the viewing experience. Also, the Bravia Z5500 features the latest BRAVIA Engine 3, which intelligently optimizes the video from any HD or SD source and enhances the picture using advance contrast and color reproduction techniques complemented by Sony’s trademark Live Color Creation technology.
Other features include built-in Ethernet port, DLNA compliance, Auto Shutdown, AppliCast application that connects to internet via Ethernet port and displays RSS feeds, forecasts, horoscopes, etc., all accessed via easy-to-use XrossMediaBar interface.
The Z-Series will be available in three sizes (40-inch, 46-inch and 52-inch), will hit the stores sometime around July. No word on the Price.
