LG unveiled its new range of slim desktop PC Systems based on Intel Turbo Memory technology. The shiny black case with a glossy mirror coating resembles the Sony PS3.
Both XPION R10 Series and S10 Series features Intel’s new Turbo Memory Technology, where flash-based memory modules are soldered directly on the motherboard act as an intermediate layer in the memory hierarchy and stores data each time an operation is carried out. This technology is usually used in notebooks for improved battery lifespan. The desktop version of the technology helps in fast boot time, improved performance while accessing programs and writing data to hard drive.
XPION R10 Series comes packs in an Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 (2.66 GHz), 2GB DDR2 (800 MHz), 500 GB SATA II hard drive, GeForce 8500GT with 512MB of built-in GDRAM3 and a Super Multi DVD Writer. The system can be upgraded to 3GB of RAM or Intel P35 Express Chipset.
XPION S10 series is a powerful version with Intel Core 2 Quad processor, 720GB SATA II hard drive, 2GB RAM, Geforce 256MD of GDRAM.
The systems doesn’t come with a monitor.
