Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) developed a solar-powered home theater system, which they are calling as “Guiltless-Green Home Theater”.
The system consists of a 100-inch screen, Sharp projector, 6-channel audio system built in to the walls, Integra AV receiver, Lighting from Lutron Electronics and a universal remote. All the equipment will run from solar energy produced from the roof-mounted panels that can generate up to 700 watts of power in an hour, which is enough to run the entire equipment for 19 hrs long.
