Acer debuts Aspire Timeline

  Acer introduced a new laptop, the Acer Aspire Timeline in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch  sizes. The laptop has brushed aluminum chassis and weighs just 1.5kg (3.5 lbs) for 13.3-inch model and 2.4kg (5.3 lbs) for the 15.6-inch model. Acer used “Laminar Wall Jet technology” for the first time in Timeline series that makes it more energy efficient, lighter less harmful to the environment.

Timeline promises a battery life of more than 8hours. When in need for performance. there is this PowerSmart button that lets the laptop to use power intelligently and unleash full performance. Features include 16:9 aspect ratio, high-definition LED backlit display, HDMI port, Integrated Acer Crystal Eye webcam, Dolby sound room for 5.1 channel simulation from the stereo speakers or headphones. Connectivity options include 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N wireless, 3G WWAN and Mobile WiMAX.

All this for just $699 to $899, which is extremely cheap considering the configuration.
