Toshiba officially unveiled the Portege R600 today. This ultra-portable laptop is just 0.77-inch thin and weighs just about 2.4 pounds. The features are not compromised for the thinness, It has got an Intel 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low processor, 2GB DDR2 RAM at 800MHz(Can be upgraded to 5GB), 12.1-inch LED Screen, 128GB SSD drive, eSATA combo port, and a built-in DVD Writer.
Also, there is a low-end version with 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB SATA drive, DVD Writer.
The Backup is said to be up to 9hours. The Laptop is already up for sale at Toshiba Canada’s online store. It won’t be long to hit the US stores.

The low end version costs 2399 Canadian dollars = 2 114.02999 U.S. dollars.
The high-end version costs 3299 Canadian dollars = 2907 U.S. dollars
