Toshiba’s Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ priced at 389,000 Japanese Yen ($4075) will now comes packed with a Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4 GHz), 3GB RAM, Super Multi DVD Drive, and 12.1 inch LED backlit screen. Connectivity wise the laptop has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, eSATA, three USB slots, and Gigabit Ethernet. The best feature in this model has to be the 512GB SSD drive capable of reading speeds of 230MB/sec and writing speeds of 180MB/sec.
Update: The US version of the same notebook Toshiba R600-ST4303 with 512GB SSD is selling for $2999. Now, the price is not bad at all considering the facts that a 512 GB SSD costs just over 1000$ in the market and the model’s battery life of up to 7.53 hrs.
