Dell’s new colorful Latitude 2100 for the Educational Buyers

The all new Latitude 2100 Netbook from Dell comes in several eye-candy colors targeted specifically at the educational market.

 dell-latitude-2100-green The basic configuration includes an Intel Atom CPU, 1GB memory, touch screen display and Windows XP operating system. The Netbook has a semi-rugged feel and thick rubber cover along with an optional anti-microbial keyboard. The chassis comes in bright colors and is designed keeping the younger users in mind. But then, not all the features will be liked by the younger users, especially features such as Network Activity Light that turns on when the students are surfing the web instead of doing the class work.

Another interesting feature that would appeal the educational buyers is the Mobile Computing Station, which can hold 23 Latitudes and can charge them or even update them remotely via LAN by the Administrators.

The Netbook is now available for a base price of $369.
