LaVie Light: N280 processor based BL300-series Netbooks from NEC

NEC today announced a new netbook series, the LaVie Light BL300 with Intel Atom N280 processor and a choice of HDD or SSD.

The BL300 series has a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a display resolution of 1024×600, a webcam, connectivity options of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The models will be available in three colors, glossy  white, red and black and has a thickness in between 27.5 and 29.8mm.

The BL300 comes with 160GB hard drive or 16GB Solid state drive, while the models BL310 and BL350 will have no choice of SSD. Battery life is around 4.2hrs for the BL300 and BL310 models, while the BL350 will have higher capacity battery that gives up to 7.4hrs of back up for a single charge.
