Western Digital unveils two new 2TB HDD’s

Western Digital introduced two new 2TB Hard Drives today. The former model Caviar Black 2TB( model no. WD2001FASS) spins at 7200 RPM using SATA 3Gb/s interface with 64MB cache, and the latter is an enterprise model RE4(model no. WD2003FYYS), also spins at 7200rpm with 64MB cache, but lasts much longer for about 1.2 million hours.

Price:

The Caviar Black is priced at $299 and the price for RE4 is yet to be known.
