ARCHOS announced that the company will start shipping its 5-inch unnamed Android based Internet Tablet on September 15th. The device will be based on Android, with several customized applications running on top.
The other model Archos 9 Tablet PC launched earlier this week will run on Windows 7 and will start shipping from October 2009 onwards. The Archos 9 will boast a native resolution of 1024×600, a touchscreen display, 1.3GHz Atom CPU and US15W chipset, and 60GB or 120GB HDD. The model will be offered at a price of £450 and £500 respectively (depending on the HDD choice).
