Asus silently released its Eee PC 900SD Netbook, which comes with a 8.9-inch display with screen resolution of 1024 x 600, Intel Celeron 900MHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB SSD Storage, three USB ports, VGA port, Mic/headphone jacks, SDHC/MMC Card slots, 0.3 MP webcam, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Netbook weights only 1kg and battery life is approximately 4 hrs.

ASUS Eee Box B203 Unveiled

ASUS Eee Box B203 is a Celeron-based Eee Box model. It is a mini-desktop with Intel C220 processor, 2GB RAM and 160GB storage.

The dimensions of the box are 8.7 x 7 x 1 (inches), It is small enough to be fitted behind any LCD Monitor. The Box requires only 20 watts of power, thus reducing the carbon footprint by up to 90%.

ASUS VH-series LCD monitors

Asus announced four new VH-Series LCD monitors with true 16:9 aspect ratio today. The models include an 18.5-inch VH192, 21.5-inch VH222 and VH226, and 23.6-inch VH242. The VH192 has a screen resolution of 1366×768, while the rest of the models are 1080p.

All the monitors comes with ASUS’s trademark “Smart Contrast Ratio” technology that delivers anywhere between 10000:1 to 20000:1 contrast ratio. Except for the lower-end VH192 model, all the other models comes with an HDMI port, built-in speakers, VGA and DVI ports.

The higher-end model VH226 has a response ratio of 2ms and glossy finish.

No word on pricing and release date yet.

Asus introduced its latest sound card Xonar Essence STX, which is claimed to provide high-quality audio performance.

The Sound Card boasts hi-end features such as Hyper-ground technology, EMI Shield design, 24-bit Burr Brown PCM 1792A Digital to Analog converters, AV100 high-definition sound processor, Nichicon Fine Gold capacitors, two pairs of RCA jacks and input/output 6.3mm stereo jacks, and Optical digital output.

The Sound card is a perfect choice for gaming and entertainment PC’s, its integrated headphone amplifier produces less than 0.001% distortion thus accompanying the industry-leading 124-dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). It is based on Intel Atom processor 1.6GHz and comes packed with 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 8.9-inch wide screen with 1024×600 resolution, 4GB SSD Drive, a Digital Media Reader, 3 USB slots, built-in wireless support and Linux Operating system pre-installed. The Netbook is just 1.3-inch thin and weighs about 2.2lbs or 1kg.
