Buffalo added a latest model to its LinkTheater series, the LT-H91LAN with built-in NAS (DLNA) function that allows to share video, music or photos within the network.

The LinkTheater supports the MPEG-1/2, WM9, H.264, MPEG-4, XviD, DivX files both in both HD and SD qualities.

With the new LT-H91LAN, users will be able to connect to Internet and access the NHK VOD service or the TSUTAYA TV one in Japan.

Micro USB Thumb Key

Buffalo Japan introduced a tiny Micro USB thumb key with a size of 15x22x8mm and weight of just 2.3 grams.

The Thumb Key is in fact a microSDHC card reader that can be connected to PC via USB socket. The microSD card itself can be removed and used with a mobile phone. It is compatible with all the major operating systems and is available in 1GB/2GB/4GB/8GB capacities in white and black colors.

Price ranges from 1800 Yen to 7300 Yen(19$ to 76$) depending on the capacity.

Buffalo’s new DLNA compatible Digital Photo Frame

Buffalo Japan introduced a new Digital Frame, the PF-50WG, which will be available from December onwards for 19800 Japanese Yen(208$).

The PF-50WG comes with an 8-Inch LCD screen with a resolution of 800×600, internal memory of 85MB, an USB port, and Wi-Fi support. It is compatible with SD/SDHC/Memory Stick/CF/xD cards.

Also, the frame can read MP3/AAC audio files and that are available on your computer or display pictures from Picasa and Flickr via Wi-Fi.
