<p>Acer announced its Intel Core i7 based desktop, the Aspire M7720 in Taiwan yesterday at IT Month 2008.</p>

<p>The desktop comes in a clean-looking chassis with the all new Intel quad-core 2.66GHz Core i7 processor, 3GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable up to 12GB), a 750 GB hard disk, ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphic card with 1 GB of video RAM. The basic config mentioned above would cost $1200 and will hit the stores by the end of this month on the stateside.</p>
