Samsung’s all new HL61A750 LCD TV comes packed with excellent features and yet the price is less than $2K. There are lots of options for picture optimization and connectivity.
The Design:
Arguably the best in its class. It has the glossy black finish with a thin bezel surrounding the edges of the screen. The remote is cool too, it also comes in a glossy black finish minus the backlight. There is this apple style round dial on the remote which is meant for navigating the menu.
If you haven’t heard of Philips Ambilight Technology, here’s a quick info, Ambilight is a relatively new technology from Philips where the LCD Panels can produce ultra-crisp display with a colors that resemble a firework in the sky. We may or may not like this technology, but we sure gonna like the extended version of this technology where we’ll be thrilled by the shining lights on the wall.
Mitsubishi introduced new HDTV’s that comes with ultra-thin frame and DLP technology. The new models comes in different sizes and are 3D-ready. The bigger models are 1080p DLP HDTV’s that are available in 60-inch, 65-inch, and 73-inch sizes and price ranges from $1800 to $4700, where as the full HD models size ranges from 40 to 52-inch at 120Hz refresh rate will cost $2500 to $4500.
