The Notebook is available in blue and red colors and is priced at $999.

Users will be able to choose from over 100 designs, which the company collected from number of artists, such as mike Ming, Brittany Waldner and Joseph Amedokpo. These designs are applied to the lid of a system being ordered at a cost of $75.

The users can browse the designs by artist or by colors. Note that the designs or not adhesive in nature, they are actually infused into the plastic before manufacturing. Also, Dell is planning to make it possible for the customers to upload their own design in the future.

Also, there is a low-end version with 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB SATA drive, DVD Writer.

The Backup is said to be up to 9hours. The Laptop is already up for sale at Toshiba Canada’s online store. It won’t be long to hit the US stores.

The Lenovo S10 IdeaPad comes with a 10.2-inch screen and is based on the Intel’s Atom Processor. The Netbook will be offered in two configurations, one with 512 MB memory, 80GB HDD, and the other with 1GB memory and a 160 GB Hard drive.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10 is just 1-inch thicker(85% of the size is just the keyboard) and weighs just about two pounds.  Other features include LED display backlight, built-in webcam, Wi-Fi, 2 USB ports, media card reader, and an ExpressCard slot.

S10 will be available in white/white and red/white chassis and comes with Windows XP Pre-installed.

The Netbook is expected to hit the market in the coming October and the price starts at $399 .

The Notebook includes 802.11 wireless slot, Ethernet LAN, optional Bluetooth and 3 USB ports, VGA output and an Express Card slot.

The Notebook weighs 5.5 pounds and operating system options include Free DOS, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

HP says the product is "coming soon" and there is no information on the pricing.

Toshiba Italy unveiled a new notebook namely Portégé M800(spell it in Italian style). The laptop features a TruBrite widescreen display(1280×800), Intel Core 2 Duo(2GHz) processor, 250 GB Hard drive, 1 GB RAM and a DVD Super Multi Drive. The laptop offers Wi-fi and Bluetooth Connectivity.

A new laptop model which is a successor to dv2000 is launched exclusively for the Asian Market. The HP dv3000 comes with a 13.3 inch display and looks are same as its predecessor. Inside, the Laptop features a 2.5 GHz T9300 Penryn Core 2 Duo processor, GeForce Go 8400M graphic card with HDMI out, 160GB hard drive, 2GB Ram, webcam, and a dual layer DVD burner. All that for $1399, which is actually pretty good. The laptop would hit the Asian Stores around May this year.

Toshiba is going to release two laptops based on Intel Penryn processor, Satellite A300(15 inch) and P300(17 inch). Excepted Features are:

- Harman Kardon speakers

- Built-in fingerprint reader

- 1.3 MP Camera

- Integrated microphone

- 2GB RAM, 160 GB HDD

Price will vary depending on the choice of processor.

A Core2 Duo T5500 or T8100 Penryn based Laptop would cost $1480.

AMD Turion TL-60 with 250 GB Hard drive would cost $1,184.

Not much details are available on the 17 inch P300 notebook, but it would probably have same specs as the A300.

Enough of the specs now, HP packed in some real performance in this laptop along with Mobility.

Sony announced new line of laptops, with some weird and funky graphics called Graphic Splash Maya Hayuk. VAIO line of products are famous for their design. The new in the line comes with high end specifications. The best part about the new laptops is definitely the design.
