Skype outrage caused by Microsoft security upgrade

SkypeSkype issued an apology statement for outrage today. The Net phone firm is up and running again after 3 days of disruption. This disruption caused millions of people logging and making calls. In the statement posted on its website, Skype said the outrage was caused by a security software upgrade issued by Microsoft, and to make the matters worse the failure exposed a bug in the algorithm. Although Skype said the service was back to normal some users were still having problems over the weekend.
